High-tech meets efficiency – our logistics center.
We rely on state-of-the-art logistics processes to supply our customers in more than 150 countries: Our logistics center in Wernberg-Köblitz, just a few kilometers from the company headquarters in Hirschau, is a high-tech facility of gigantic proportions.
The Conrad stores are also supplied from this functional building complex, which houses a fully automated high-bay warehouse with 44,000 pallet spaces and the shuttle warehouse with 235,000 storage spaces, which went into operation in 2014.
In particular, the “goods to person” principle implemented there enables extremely simple and efficient work.
On average, around 50,000 parcels leave our distribution center every day, and at peak times it can be up to 75,000 parcels.
The logistics center has an EPA (Electrostatic Protected Area) protected against electrostatic discharge and has a DIN-EN 61340-5-1 certified ESD zone.
This ensures safe handling of components in accordance with the highest quality standards and proper storage.
